Royals Can't Catch Up To Mascenic Regional
Royals fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 9-6 loss to Mascenic Regional on Tuesday. Mascenic Regional scored on a single by Hiott, a groundout by Agonis, a walk by Cocozella, and a walk by Krook in the first inning.
Despite the loss, Royals did collect six hits in the high-scoring affair. Unfortunately, Mascenic Regional had nine hits on the way to victory.
L’vaillencourt led the Mascenic Regional to victory on the pitcher's mound. He lasted six innings, allowing five hits and four runs while striking out nine. Cocozella threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.
Royals racked up six hits in the game. Michael Evans and Jenness each managed multiple hits for Royals. Jenness and Evans each collected two hits to lead Royals. Royals was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Devin Tetreault made the most plays with five. Adidas Murphyled Royals with three stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with ten stolen bases.
Mascenic Regional saw the ball well today, racking up nine hits in the game. Hiott, D Valencourt, and Cocozella each collected multiple hits for Mascenic Regional. Hiott went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Mascenic Regional in hits. Mascenic Regional tore up the base paths, as two players stole at least two bases. Cocozella led the way with two.
