Royals Slides Into A Blow-Out Win Over Inter-Lakes
Royals cruised to an easy victory over Inter-Lakes 11-4 on Monday
Royals fired up the offense in the first inning. Devin Tetreault tripled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run.
Royals put up five runs in the fourth inning. The offensive onslaught came from singles by Brennen Murphy, Josh Evans, and Joe Stone and a double by Garrett Davis.
Tetreault got the win for Royals. He lasted seven innings, allowing five hits and four runs while striking out six.
Sanders took the loss for Inter-Lakes. He surrendered ten runs on 11 hits over three and a third innings, striking out three and walking one.
Royals totaled 13 hits in the game. Murphy, Logan Briand, Evans, Michael Evans, and Stone all collected multiple hits for Royals. Stone, Evans, Evans, Briand, and Murphy each collected two hits to lead Royals. Royals tore up the base paths, as two players stole at least two bases. Evans led the way with two.
