Royals Can't Catch Up To Gilford
Royals watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 12-1 loss to Gilford on Wednesday. Gilford scored on a single by Carmillia, a single by Muthasbough, and a single by McHean in the first inning.
The Royals struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Gilford, giving up 12 runs.
Gilford got things started in the first inning when Carmillia singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.
Sullivan got the start for Gilford. He allowed seven hits and one run over four innings, striking out seven and walking one.
