Royals Can't Catch Up To White Mountain

Royals watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 10-0 loss to White Mountain on Tuesday. White Mountain scored on a single by Brown, a single by Hicks, and a stolen base by Corrigan in the first inning.

The Royals struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing White Mountain, giving up ten runs.

In the first inning, White Mountain got their offense started when Brown singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.

One bright spot for Royals was a single by Logan Briand in the fifth inning.

Crane earned the victory on the mound for White Mountain. He lasted five innings, allowing one hit and zero runs while striking out 14 and walking one.

Devin Tetreault took the loss for Royals. He lasted three innings, allowing ten hits and ten runs while striking out two.

Briand led Royals with one hit in two at bats.

White Mountain tallied 11 hits. Brown, Curtis, Hicks, Crane, and Bailey all had multiple hits for White Mountain. Hicks led White Mountain with three stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with eight stolen bases.
