Early Lead For Conant Seals Fate For Royals
Royals fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 15-0 loss to Conant on Tuesday. Conant scored on a single by Kirby, a single by Seppala, and a double by S Seppala in the first inning.
The Royals struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Conant, giving up 15 runs.
Conant fired up the offense in the first inning. Conant scored one run when Kirby singled.
A single by Devin Tetreault in the first inning was a positive for Royals.
Kirby was credited with the victory for Conant. He went five innings, allowing zero runs on four hits and striking out nine.
Tetreault took the loss for Royals. He went four innings, allowing 15 runs on 11 hits and striking out five.
