Royals Beats Fall Mountain
Royals defeated Fall Mountain 7-5 on Monday.
Royals got on the board in the first inning. Royals scored on a stolen base during Devin Tetreault's at bat. Then Tetreault singled.
Logan Briand was the winning pitcher for Royals. He allowed seven hits and three runs over six innings, striking out seven. Michael Evans threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.
Stetson took the loss for Fall Mountain. He lasted seven innings, allowing eight hits and seven runs while striking out 13.
Royals tallied eight hits. Tetreault, Josh Evans, and Alex Jenness each racked up multiple hits for Royals. Tetreault went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Royals in hits.
Fall Mountain tallied ten hits in the game. Wilder, Stetson, and #4 all managed multiple hits for Fall Mountain. Fall Mountain tore up the base paths, as four players stole at least two bases. Stetson led the way with five.
