Early Lead For White Mountain Seals Fate For MVRHS Royals Varsity Baseball

MVRHS Royals Varsity Baseball fell behind early and couldn't come back in an 8-1 loss to White Mountain on Monday. White Mountain scored on a walk by Crane, a fielder's choice by Brown, a fielder's choice by Labointy, and a walk by Corrigan in the first inning.

The MVRHS Royals Varsity Baseball struggled to contain the high-powered offense of White Mountain, giving up eight runs.

White Mountain got on the board in the first inning. Crane drew a walk, scoring one run.

Brown pitched White Mountain to victory. He lasted five innings, allowing two hits and one run while striking out 12. Crane threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Devin Tetreault took the loss for MVRHS Royals Varsity Baseball. He went five innings, allowing six runs on four hits and striking out five.

Seth Martin went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead MVRHS Royals Varsity Baseball in hits.

White Mountain didn't commit a single error in the field. Labointy had the most chances in the field with 17. Carr led White Mountain with three stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with ten stolen bases.
