After a strong game against Newport last Thursday the boys carried that momentum into a match up with a difficult opponent. The team started strong and played a compettive match. Hopkinton got their first of four gioals in the 30th minute. They went on to score two more before the end of the half. However as it has been so often in this season the boys did not give up. The deffensive unit of Jordan Peck, Killian Dowd, Owen Schneider, and Spencer Stebbins showed great leadership and poise as they had to deal with frequent attacks by the Hopkinton offense. Hopkinton was able to find the back of the net for the final time of the day to make it 4-0. Once again the team did not give up and were able to create multiple other chances on net. James Disbrow converted a penalty kick to make it 4-1 and then he  put in a beautiful corner kick which was flicked on by Owen Schneider. Justin Mcdonald found the ball at his feet and put it in the back of the net to make it 4-2 with under a minute left. Overall the team played very well against an extremely skilled opponent. We now prepare for back to back games Friday and Saturday. Friday we will go to Stevens for their Homecoming  game at 3:30. Saturday will be our Homecoming match against Newport at 1:00.
