Fall Sports Mitigation Strategies 

Realizing that athletes are an important part of the school curriculum, the district reopening committee came up with the following guidelines. As a group we recommend these mandates keep our athletes, coaches, and fans safe during the fall season. 

• Daily prescreening, temperature checks, and attendance
• Mask usage
  • Masks optional outdoors
  • Masks required during indoor competition (contingent on community transmission)
  • Masks required on away competition bus trips (state guidance) 
  • Masks required on sidelines when 3 feet cannot be attained
• Hand sanitizer and disinfectant readily available for all participants/spectators
• No shared water stations
• Senior games - First home game of the season or another game determined by team
• Team virtual pictures – Sept. 1^st (Schedule coming soon)
• Limited spectators indoors for volleyball competitions
  • Intermediate family (home/away teams) only
  • Masks required and check-in desk
  • Social distancing of 3 feet recommended in bleachers
